lemon juice hair highlights in MOUNT HAMILTON.All you will need is a sunny day and a couple of lemons.
First you will want to decide how much of your hair you want to highlight, if you want to highlight all of your hair you will need to start with two or three large lemons.
The less hair you plan on highlighting, the lower number of lemons you will need.
Once you have your lemons ready you will want to cut them in half and squeeze them into a container of some sort.
I prefer to squeeze them into a bowl and then transfer the juice into a spray bottle.
If you want to highlight all of your hair then evenly spray or pour the juice into your hair.
It is important to make sure the lemon juice is thoroughly and evenly mixed throughout your hair.
If you do not want to highlight all of your hair, but instead just want to highlight a few strands there is another technique.
Pull each strand of hair that you would like highlighted through the hole and let it hang out.
Once you have all of the strands you would like highlight pulled through it is time to apply lemon juice to each strand liberally.
I find that if you pull the strands through with a bit of a random touch, and make some thicker than others it gives a more natural look.
After the selected portions of your hair are fully saturated in lemon juice all you need to do is go relax and enjoy a nice day in the sun.
If you have chosen the hat method make sure to continue wearing your hat throughout your time in the sun to prevent the lemon juice from getting on the rest of your hair.
At the end of your day in the sun all you need to do is take a shower or bath and use any shampoo or conditioner of your choice to remove excess lemon juice.
The hair that had lemon juice applied should already be lighter; if your hair has not lightened enough you can go back out into the sun, or repeat another day.
If you are unable to go out into the sun you can optionally do this technique in a tanning booth, however i highly advise against using tanning beds in general, but it is an option.
